Freedom of expression is a right in our beloved country, since the Constitution was ratified by 200 years. This component of the First Amendment to protect those who have publicly criticized the government, has expressed the opinion that may be considered offensive by some, or wear clothing that symbolizes a point of view. Or, as a recent case here in Texas, has proved that the freedom of expression can be used as a defense against a hard working professionals who choose not to wear clothes at all. A district court in Travis County (here in Austin) has recently ruled that the state of Texas could no longer costs $ 5.00 for the tax on owners of patrono nude dancing, as it relates to a fee in the form of protected expression, and the Assembly has missed action in Texas this week to establish a alternative.House Law 982, which is sponsored by Rep. Senfronia Thompson (D-Houston), it will take ten per cent of tax on entry tickets to all the company of a sexual nature. This right includes not only topless dance club, but also stores videos and books for adults. This tax increase anywhere between four and eight million dollars to the coffers of the State of Texas, with three quarters of funds from programs for sexual violence and the rest promised to public schools. It is not good to know the source of money for the new book by Johnny science? Critics of the bill believe it is too compromised for the industry of entertainment for adults, as most video stores are not yet in charge of the fee for admission and strip clubs may choose to reduce their coverage to reduce costs the taxes must. The State has not waived the $ 5.00 per person fee option, as is currently pending appeal to Austin the 3rd Court of Appeals. Estimates indicate that this law passed in 2007, raised three times more money for the state to be collected under the bill proposed by Rep. Thompson.Be note that this society does not tolerate (let alone a lawyer) in strip clubs any way. But we believe in free enterprise and the right to launch and operate a legitimate business.
